As you get older, you start to develop an ability of preserving items and making use out of random materials to either save money or energy. When we think about multiple uses of an item, we often think about recyclable items such as plastic, paper, and metal just to name a few. However, there is an item that is very overlooked, and can be used in many ways than expected. That item, is a grain of oatmeal. Oatmeal is a grain that can be used in many ways, and I will explain the benefits’ oatmeal can have.

First off, oatmeal is very well-known for it’s nutritional value. You will be getting a good daily intake of fiber and protein, good for people who want to maintain muscle and increase the quality of their digestive system. Oatmeal also contains good carbohydrates that gives you energy to last through the day, which is why it is very common for people to eat oatmeal in the morning, rather than at night. For example, a fourth of a cup of regular steel cut oats contains 27 grams of carbohydrates. If your double the serving size which is more equivalent to an average bowl of oatmeal, that is 54 grams of carbohydrates that will provide nothing but great energy to tackle every house chore or gym workout later in the day.

Another benefit of oatmeal is its variety of meal options. If you think that eating a bowl of oatmeal in the morning is considered “boring” or “too generic”, then there is other options you can try to get the same nutritional value combined with great flavor. You can make oatmeal cookies, granola with cinnamon, banana oat muffins, you can even incorporate oats with fruit and yogurt, and have an oat smoothie if you’re busy and on the go. The great thing about oatmeal is that you won’t lose nutritional value rather you have it cooked or raw, so you can combine it with complementary items and still get the same nutritional benefit from oatmeal as you would that eating a bowl of it.

What is often overlooked about oatmeal is the other benefits’ that is associated outside of eating and nutrition, one of them is how much it treats your skin. The most common way to treat skin with oatmeal is taking an oatmeal bath. Oatmeal baths help your skin become more moisturized and relieves skin effects such as eczema, hives, sunburn, bite marks from insects, etc. You can find a good deal of oatmeal bath brands at a pharmacy or shopping outlet like a Target or Walmart, and you can also make your own oatmeal bath by using a blender or food processor to ground the oatmeal, and mix it in your bath water to enhance your skin. If you’re not a fan of oatmeal baths, Oatmeal can also be found in lotions and skin creams that when applied daily, will boost your skin quality majorly revealing great benefits’.

Oatmeal can also be a tool to fix electronics. For example, if you unintentionally dropped your phone in the sink before washing dishes, or in the ocean while taking a picture, there is a solution that can save you hundreds of dollars. Take a large sandwich bag and place the phone inside along with instant oats, enough to where the phone is completely submerged inside the oats. Leave it in the bag for an hour or two, and take it out wiping the oats off. If the phone turns on and is back to functioning correctly, then the oatmeal did its job by absorbing the water and moisture from the phone.

In conclusion, it is amazing to know what a single grain of oatmeal can do to benefit your body in a variety of ways. I have started eating oatmeal every day for the past year and a half, and it has positively transformed my body health wise and physically. It has given me more energy to handle tasks throughout the day, given me a good amount of protein needed to maintain muscle, and has prevented me from over-snacking due to hunger. I consider oatmeal to be one of the best multi-use material that is both edible and beneficial outside of eating. If you love oatmeal as much as I do, leave a comment and tell me how oatmeal has benefited you! I hope this article has inspired you to try different uses of oatmeal, thanks for reading and I hope you have a blessed day.

Being sick can be one of the most aggravating, restless, energy-draining moments that people try to avoid the most. Not only does it make you from doing tasks that was planned throughout the week a struggle, but it also negatively affects your sleep, appetite, and stamina. You can use over the counter medicine and industry brands such as NyQuil, Alka-Seltzer, Mucinex just to name a few, but it will only reduce the symptoms for a short time and leave a series of possible side effects that can be very harmful.

I have ditched the industry medicine the past few months and have switched to home remedies such as herbal tea, and it has done more to my immune system than expected. One of my favorite herbal teas is Chamomile Tea, it has a smooth rich flavor that isn’t as overpowering and combined with some honey, is guaranteed a cup of greatness.

Chamomile tea can help you fall asleep when it’s hard to do so due by sickness, or just regular restless symptoms. The enzymes in the Chamomile petals triggers the brain cell receptors, therefore helping you fall asleep faster. If you’re sick and having a hard time falling asleep, a hot cup of Chamomile tea along with a dose of Melatonin will do the absolute trick. By Chamomile being a strong sleep aid, it can also help you become calm and reduce anxiety, I have often relieved my anxiety symptoms just by having a cup of it or keeping a bag of the dried petals, to inhale whenever I feel the need to relax.

Chamomile tea can also relieve abdominal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and cramps combined with essential remedies like ginger and peppermint. What I usually do when I have an upset stomach is have a couple slices of toast and a small portion of white rice, combined with a hot glass of Chamomile tea. After an hour or two, the pain starts to go away, and I feel better than before. If you don’t like the taste of Pepto Bismol, Chamomile tea is the way to go.

You can get Chamomile tea almost at any store that sells tea, or you can order fresh organic Chamomile tea online. My favorite site to shop for authentic tea and herbs is Buddha Teas. It is a hundred times more quality and beneficial, that also is very affordable. Whenever sickness and anxiety come along, or you just crave some nice herbal tea, you can never go wrong with a nice hot glass of Chamomile tea. Leave a comment below if you’re a Chamomile fan and share the article to someone who may be new to herbal teas and is interested in trying!

Six o’clock in the morning,

a flock of birds chirping across the chilly sky.

The dimming rays of sun is exposed,

peeking through the starburst pink clouds.

Walking towards the balcony overlooking the horizon,

I see the reflection of your precious curves on the stained morning dew glass.

After a late night marathon of love making,

jogging past our favorite checkpoints of the moment,

our race to prosperity and intimate grace has been complete.

Beanfield’s Bean Chips Review

Beanfield’s Bean Chips Review

As a person who exercises regularly and follows a strict diet, it’s hard to find good quality chips that tastes good, while also beneficial to the body. Most chips I find will say “100 percent natural” but is fried in oils such as canola, soybean, and vegetable, all considered the worst oils you can use. Some chips also will contain a bunch of oxides and preservatives that makes the chip taste good, while adding less seasoning to balance out the ingredients. I have been a huge fan of Taki’s, and its bold spicy flavor. But after reading the ingredient list that contains MSG, red and yellow dyes, BHT, and soybean oil just to name a few, I’m surprised I’m still alive after all the huge bags I used to eat in one sitting throughout the years! I have given up on chips all together until I went to Whole Foods and so happened to come across the chip’s aisle, I couldn’t resist myself any longer. I browsed along the shelves and came across these chips that looked like Doritos, so I read the bag and it said “Beanfield’s Bean Chips”. I wanted to try it out since I’m a huge fan of beans, and the ingredients was all-natural quality ingredients! It was the best chip I ever had in a long time.

The first thing that caught my attention was that Beanfield’s chips Is made from quality beans such as Black and Navy beans, along with brown rice to give it that crunchy texture. Unlike corn that is made for tortillas, beans have less water consumption and less fertilization, making it safe for the climate and farming. By it being made from beans you also get a good percentage of quality protein, as 1 bag contains around 24 grams of protein. When you take that first bite, you don’t get the gritty texture from regular tortilla chips. Instead, you get a rich, smooth texture while having a crunch that isn’t hard and rough. I personally like the texture, it isn’t as tough as I thought it would be, and by me being a fan of beans it gives the taste a big enhancement.

Beanfield’s chips is also vegan-friendly and contains simple ingredients. The ingredients are Navy beans, brown rice, fried in safflower oil (one of the best oils to have), and seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, natural flavors, and paprika for color. Instead of having hundreds of additives and acids, Beanfields only contains two acids: Citric acid and Lactic acid. Pea protein and rice syrup solids is also added to keep its shape and preventing the beans and rice mixture from falling apart. The best thing about those ingredients is that you don’t feel gross after eating an entire bag, like you would if you ate Doritos or Takis. Instead, you will feel full and satisfied, like you ate a pleasant meal afterwards.

Beanfield’s chips comes in a variety of great flavors:

• Spicy Queso

• Nacho

• Jalapeno Nacho

• Jalapeno Lime

• Himalayan Pink Salt

• Pink Salt & Vinegar

• Sea Salt

• Pico de Gallo

• Regular (black bean)

• Cheddar & Sour Cream

• Barbecue

My favorites are the Nacho and Pico de Gallo, and my absolute favorite is the cheddar and sour cream. The flavor of the cheddar is rich and bold, combined with the bean flavor, it’s hard to beat. If you want to take it up a notch, you can substitute the regular tortilla chips for bean chips and make some delicious nachos that I guarantee will blow you away!

In conclusion, if you are somebody who’s having a hard time finding the perfect snack to fit your daily fitness needs, or struggling due to allergic reasons, I highly recommend trying out Beanfields bean chips. It is twice better than tortilla chips in my opinion, and you can really taste the flavors due to it being all 100% natural and organic. Once you finish trying them, leave a comment below and share your thoughts on them!
