Read Time26 Second

Let us come home, you and I after a long day of labor and pain.

Turn the warm water on, light some pumpkin candles as we slowly undress.

Jump right in, let the warm aqua of peace flow down you as I kiss and caress.

Lather you with scents of relaxation, rinse off the stress, your body’s my medication.

Dry off your juices with my tongue, struggling to hold yourself steady.

Its 7-o clock, you’re hungry let’s go to the bed, dinner’s ready.

  1. Thank you! This is very nice. When I first saw the title, six shower, I was afraid it was going to be about some kind of militaristic routine of forcing yourself out of bed too early and all that kind of stuff. But I was really relieved to find out you were actually talking about a 6 p.m. shower, as a way of taking care of yourself at the end of the day.

This is very nice music with the spoken words. You put together the words very nicely and the page looks great. I wish you the best with your creative Endeavors, and have a great day!

  2. Oh my, this will turn any lady on I must say. Very good lines here with the mild eroticism. I really did enjoy this one. Your use of imagery is very strong here and k must commend you. I think it’s the first time I’m seeing such beauty and I must say the name of the poem is somewhat questionable. You wanna say why you named it 600 shower?

    1. I named it 6:00 Shower due to it being about unwinding after a long work day and preparing for the night, and people usually get home from work around 6pm.

  3. Now this is what I am talking about. Pure seduction with simple words to go with. I love the way you have see simole words through out this poem as seduction wouldn’t require much think for your partner needs to easily understand what message you’re passing to them., and with this wonderful piece, you’ve done well my friend. I look forward to seeing such wonderful piece.

  4. Wow, you are so good at this. I like where you say you wanto liçk the juice from her body with your tongue.  I can see the picture you painted here and how you wish to sooth your lover. The poet persona is so in love and I really like your poem. Nicely written here. Very good!

  5. Hello Josh, I am so excited that someone can really speak a language I love, a language understand and that’s poetry with a taste to pure romance in it. This is one of the purest heart touching poem i have seen in a long time as I could relate to it so easily and wish that someone can read it to my hearing. I love your step step approach to the poem and how you slowly brought the poem to its climax. Nice work.

  6. This was deep. Deep in the sensuous love for the woman in your life. Reading this made me think and listening made me long for my girlfriend to be here right now, for she loves taking showers with me. She says its to save water and soap. Yeah right.

But when you love someone deeply, you sometimes want to share the ordinary things that make them less ordinary and more loving. – “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” – Maya Angelou
