For example, If you pick dandelions that have been sprayed with chemicals and pesticides, it can be very hazardous to your body. So make sure that you choose clean, freshly grown dandelions. Also, if you’re allergic to plants like ragweed, then the tea may not be suitable for you.

Being sick can be one of the most aggravating, restless, energy-draining moments that people try to avoid the most. Not only does it make you from doing tasks that was planned throughout the week a struggle, but it also negatively affects your sleep, appetite, and stamina. You can use over the counter medicine and industry brands such as NyQuil, Alka-Seltzer, Mucinex just to name a few, but it will only reduce the symptoms for a short time and leave a series of possible side effects that can be very harmful.

I have ditched the industry medicine the past few months and have switched to home remedies such as herbal tea, and it has done more to my immune system than expected. One of my favorite herbal teas is Chamomile Tea, it has a smooth rich flavor that isn’t as overpowering and combined with some honey, is guaranteed a cup of greatness.

Chamomile tea can help you fall asleep when it’s hard to do so due by sickness, or just regular restless symptoms. The enzymes in the Chamomile petals triggers the brain cell receptors, therefore helping you fall asleep faster. If you’re sick and having a hard time falling asleep, a hot cup of Chamomile tea along with a dose of Melatonin will do the absolute trick. By Chamomile being a strong sleep aid, it can also help you become calm and reduce anxiety, I have often relieved my anxiety symptoms just by having a cup of it or keeping a bag of the dried petals, to inhale whenever I feel the need to relax.

Chamomile tea can also relieve abdominal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and cramps combined with essential remedies like ginger and peppermint. What I usually do when I have an upset stomach is have a couple slices of toast and a small portion of white rice, combined with a hot glass of Chamomile tea. After an hour or two, the pain starts to go away, and I feel better than before. If you don’t like the taste of Pepto Bismol, Chamomile tea is the way to go.

You can get Chamomile tea almost at any store that sells tea, or you can order fresh organic Chamomile tea online. My favorite site to shop for authentic tea and herbs is Buddha Teas. It is a hundred times more quality and beneficial, that also is very affordable. Whenever sickness and anxiety come along, or you just crave some nice herbal tea, you can never go wrong with a nice hot glass of Chamomile tea.
